What are we?

The Linden Herald is published weekly and includes a variety of local news, sports, club photographs, agricultural news, regional travel stories, editorials, history, school board meetings, water districts, sheriff and fire calls, local advertising and legal notices.

Legal Notices:

The San Joaquin County Superior Court in Sept. 1960 issued a decree (no. 72641) for The Linden Herald as a newspaper of general circulation. We can publish most legal notices including fictitious business names, Change of Name Petition, Family Law, trustee sales, and court summons. Our prices are very competitive.

Fictitious business names are $85 ($10 more for corp., LLC, partnerships, husband and wife), $225 for Family Law (divorce), $225 for name change, $225 for Summon $325 for business bulk sale transfer, etc. Call 209-772-8854 for further pricing. We will file the proof of publication at no cost for advertisers with the San Joaquin County Court or San Joaquin County Recorder and issue another copy to petitioner or registrant.

We are 15 miles east of the edge of a major metropolitan area: Stockton, Tracy, Manteca; an hour south of the State Capital of Sacramento; and a two hour-drive east of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Linden area has approximately 5,000 residents inside the school district. The town limits have about 1,200 citizens.
