Who are we?

We are a team of working joumalists with a combined total of more than 57 years of experience in the community newspaper business. We are a print-only newspaper written and reported in the traditional journalism manner.

What are we?

The Linden Herald newspaper was established in 1959 in the central part of Califomia in the farming community of Linden.

The newspaper is published weekly and includes a variety of local news, sports, club photographs, agricultural news, regional travel stories, editorials, history, school board meetings, water districts, sheriff and fire calls, local advertising and legal notices.

The San Joaquin County Superior Court in Sept. 1960 issued a decree (no. 72641) for The Linden Herald as a newspaper of general circulation. We can publish most legal notices including fictitious business names, Change of Name Petition, Family Law, trustee sales, and court summons. Our prices are very competitive.

Where are we located?

We are 15 miles east of the edge of a major metropolitan area, Stockton, Tracy, and Manteca; an hour south of the State Capital of Sacramento; and a two hour-drive east of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Linden area has approximately 5,000 residents inside the school district. The town limits have about 1,200 citizens.
